Joe Trivette was WJMA's first morning announcer. He was at the station when it signed on for the first time September 10, 1949. He remained with WJMA until June 1952 when he took a job with WLAK in Lakeland, Florida.
In this picture he is in the WJMA control room. At the time the radio station had studios and offices at the DeVivi Restaurant south of Orange on US Route 15. The Comfort Inn is on that land today.
