Bob Wade, aka J D Slade, on the air on WIFI FM in Philadelphia. The year was 1981, a few years after he started as a part-time announcer at WJMA in 1973. The format at the time was "Rock of the 80s". WIFI, originally W57PH went on the air in 1942. It became KYW-FM and now has the calls WXTU.
