Joe Trivette was WJMA's first morning announcer when the station began broadcasting on September 10, 1949. Joe also served as Chief Engineer.
In June of 1952 he left for a job with WLAK in Lakeland, Florida. He stayed there until 1967. He worked a a number of other Central Florida stations. He passed away in 2000.
