Ken Gunter worked as an announcer at WJMA for about 9 months in 1961. He was one of Arch Harrison's first hires after he bought WJMA in April of 1961.
During his brief time in Orange he helped broadcast Orange County High School football games. He left WJMA when hired away by former WJMA announcer Red Shipley who was then working at WPIK in Manassas.
Ken Gunter died in July of 2008.
