This ad announcing the debut of WJMA FM ran in the November 25, 1971 edition of the Orange Review.
An article in the same edition said that "In conjunction with the start of the new FM service WJMA Inc. is introducing a new corporate service mark: the Post Horn." The design was by Barboursville, VA artist Joseph Morse who said he selected the Post Horn because of its role in America's past as the harbinger of news and information about the outside world.
