A January 1977 article in the Orange Review said that WJMA would be replacing its old 185 foot tower with a 340 foot tower. The project also included installing a stereo FM transmitter and circularly polarized FM antenna.
The project was expected to be completed within 90 days. This ad ran in the February 10 and 17 editons of the paper.
